Hero

Charities have expressed a pain point where they either have to use a heavily templated platform that doesn't give them full flexibility to create their campaign or they have to hire an expensive agency to inject HTML/CSS into these templated platforms to manipulate the fundraising technology to do what they want. To solve this, I designed a campaign builder that is easy to use and allows flexibility to create beautiful, effective, and informative fundraising campaigns.

If you are still looking for a UX/UI designer, stop, and hire Karlyn. Seriously. I liked her minimalist and clean style from the Portfolio on her page (check out the hero example). She was extremely responsive from the beginning and she not only brought our vision to life, but she did it is quickly and was constantly sending iterations for feedback. She made changes quickly and accurately and her communication was excellent. It's nerve wracking hiring someone to take control of such an important process and now I wouldnt work with anyone else. She put true effort into the project. We were clearly not a side project or just "another project". She genuinely acted excited about the work she was doing. She was also honest with her feedback. If we asked her to make a change and it looked terrible, she told us as much and explained how it could be better based on her training, education, experience, and expertise. Here's the thing, she was right most of the time and we ended up going with her recommendations. She told us from the beginning how long she thought it would take and it shows a lot that although we asked her to make a lot of changes/updates/enhancements/etc along the way, she still finished it within her self imposed time frame (which was quick - two weeks for a full website build).

"We worked with Karlyn to create a competitive UI/UX design for our new service which is highly strategic for us. Before we start working with her, we had a logo, some visual ideas, and simple user flows only.We initially started a workshop based on the existing sketch created by our side, and she highlighted many points where the users may feel worried. She illustrated users' views and streamlined what was inconvenient, especially for the first visitors. She created a couple of critical new features, and modified user flows in the low-fidelity mockups and quick video demos to help us understand what it will look like.Then we moved to work on a high-fidelity mockup to freeze the UI design to enable us to start the frontend dev.
